Craft Cocktail Class - Making Your Own Bitters, Simple Syrups and Tinctures

WHERE:   Steel Wheels – 423 S Cascade Street – Fergus Falls

TIME:    2:00 – 4:00 pm

COST:   $30 per person

Tessa, the resident mixologist at Steel Wheels will walk you through cocktailing basics: how and what spirits are made from and how distilled liquor came into existence. Tessa will share her formulas and experience for measuring and balancing flavors for a tasty cocktail every time. The 3 session course will teach you about infusing spirits versus just adding flavors. Then you will get a chance to make your own bitters, simple syrups, and tinctures. Next comes everything you should know about whiskey, then choosing your ingredients to make different variations of the Manhattan and Old Fashioned. Finally, you will learn about smoke flavor enhancements in a cocktail and get a chance to smoke your own glass. 

All classes are interactive and include: 

1 cocktail, complimentary Dining Car #423 appetizers, and a packet of information with references and recipes. 

Classes will be held around the Steel Wheels bar making it a more personable experience. This is a semi-private event so seating is limited.

Cost is $30 per person
